JOB SUMMARY
The Junior (Jr) Management Consultant supports ISF’s Management Consulting practice in providing strategic, unbiased and objective advisory services that assist organizations in improving productivity, delivering innovation, and increasing overall performance.

As a Jr. Management Consultant, you will navigate business problems across a variety of industries while developing your business skills. Management Consulting services covers areas such as strategic planning, organizational restructuring, change management, business process improvement, financial analysis, technology feasibility, and human capital management. This role is a fully remote from anywhere in the continental U.S.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Junior Management Consultant will:
  • Perform data gathering, data collection, and data analysis.
  • Create organized, detailed documentation.
  • Coordinate and participate in internal meetings and meetings with clients.
  • Assist in gathering and understanding client business problems and needs through meetings, interviews, document reviews and other methods.
  • Assist in developing solutions, processes, methodologies, and policies to address business problems.
  • Assist in the development, writing, and production of business reports, memos, white papers, presentations, and other written materials.
  • Assist in synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data and information to help solve problems.
  • Assist in conceptualizing business problems, identifying and assessing possible solutions.
  • Assist project management with task tracking and administrative activities.
  • Review work products for quality, accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate and resolve project issues and risks.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business or field related to quality, accounting, business management, or other business-related fields.
  • Strong academic record (minimum GPA of 3.4 or higher)
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
  • Foundational knowledge of business and professional services.
  • Advanced professional writing skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Problem solving and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Resourcefulness.
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks from initiation to completion.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Ability to work closely with management in reporting project status and concerns.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in management consulting or professional services.
  • Prefer candidates with public sector experience or familiarity with public sector.
  • Experience managing and completing complex tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office, prefer strong MS Excel and Visio skills.
  • May require occasional travel.
  • Must be comfortable working in the eastern time zone.
